The Athabasca
The Athabasca gives you a generous 2,247 square feet of functional living space in a flexible four bedroom, three bath design with a full basement – in this case, a walkout with floor-to-ceiling windows.
A spacious open-concept space made up of the great room and adjoining dining area and open kitchen runs the length of the home—as do floor-to-ceiling windows that afford panoramic rear views of a lake, mountain or nature from the shared living areas.
In the kitchen, there’s plenty of room to work and mingle thanks to a generous island at its center.
In the great room, a pair of French doors offer access to a spacious deck that enlarges the interior living space and beckons guests outside for relaxing or casual dining.
Two short hallways off of the main gathering areas lead to three of the home’s bedrooms. One bedroom boasts a private bath, while the other two share a Jack and Jill bathroom.
Above the main gathering areas, a soaring cathedral ceiling draws all eyes upwards. A floor-to-ceiling fireplace anchors the open area.
On the opposite end of the shared living spaces, a staircase leads to an open loft. The large loft is perfect for use as a media or reading area, extra sleeping space for guests or even a home office.

Generously sized gable windows positioned on either side of the home offer sight lines to the front and back of the house from the loft.
With peace and privacy for the homeowner in mind, the master suite is located on the home’s lower level, guaranteeing a true adult retreat.
The master suite includes a spacious bathroom with double vanities and a separate toilet closet flanked by his and hers walk-in closets.
The lower level also includes the laundry room (conveniently located next to the master suite), two large flex spaces that could be used for a media entertainment area, game room, or an additional casual family room, along with a home office and a full bathroom.
An adjacent utility room offers the perfect storage area for seasonal items.
The walkout basement offers access to a covered patio perfect for lounging, rain or shine, that can be screened in for additional protection from the elements.
Or, take the upgrade even further by converting the space into a sunroom for all-weather enjoyment.
Continuing the exterior offerings, the outside of the Athabasca plan wows with multiple gables enhanced with decorative timber trusses, a covered entry and a stone skirt that wraps around the foundation, adding an extra layer of visual interest.
Sold on the Athabasca as is? Great! But if you’d prefer to use it as a starting point for your dream home, let us help you make the modifications to perfectly suit your family’s style and budget.
